Changes

Nothing really new to write about this time.  We did want to let you know we have updated our contact information.  This includes our new Skype phone number.  Skype allows you to call a local Austin number and it will ring on our computer in Costa Rica.  We will also have voice mail at the same number.  We will be cutting off our cell phones the middle of April and Skype and email will really be the only ways to reach us. You can get our email addresses and new phone number under the contact us tab at the top of the page.

We also added in the menu section of our blog a new category named “Our Testimony.”  A few of you have asked us how we ended up doing something like this so we thought it would be a good idea to put it on here for all to read.  We left out alot of the details but we think it is a good summary of the past six years or so.  Thanks to everyone for all of the supportive words and prayers.  We are now in the process of getting all of our paperwork together to send to the states of Texas and Florida for authentication before we send all of it to the Costa Rica embassy for final authentication.  I am sure glad I did not send everything to the state of Texas last week.  I have been in Texas so long I almost forgot I was born in Florida!

Wyoming

We had a fabulous time with our family in Jackson Hole.  This was sort of the calm before the storm as we prepare to leave for Costa Rica on April the 16th.  We loved the small town of Jackson and the lodge we stayed at was at the base of the Snow King Mountain and the ski school.  Thanks to the proximity of the ski school we were able to have Carson learn to ski for the first time!  He had a blast and he is already planning our next vacation around his new found love for skiing.  Micaiah loved the snow but could not understand why we would not let her ski.  She even put on Brian’s ski boots and declared she was ready to go.  Here are a few pictures of our time in Wyoming.

Just a word of caution.  Never sit directly behind the horses!

Just one of the 800 plus Elk we were able to see in this herd.

Jill and the kids bundled up on the ride.  In a little less than a hour we experienced clear sunny skies, wind, rain, and snow all at different times.

Not so fast!  I had to remind Carson that we are from Texas and that the white foreign substance below him was very slick.

Micaiah doing her very best to convince me she was ready to ski.  We promised next year we would give it a try.
